About Lauren Mackler

Bestselling author Lauren Mackler is a renowned coach, keynote speaker, and popular radio and TV talk-show guest. Over the past 25 years, she has been a psychotherapist, workshop facilitator, corporate consultant, coach, and a leading authority in the areas of personal transformation, relationships, and professional performance. She is the author of the international bestseller Solemate: Master the Art of Aloneness & Transform Your Life and fellow author of Speaking of Success with Jack Canfield, Stephen Covey, and Ken Blanchard. In 2001, she founded Lauren Mackler & Associates, integrating her diverse experience to offer coaching programs, workshops, and keynote presentations that help people unleash their greatest potential in their personal lives, careers, relationships, and organizations.

Lauren is the host of the weekly Life Keys radio show, every Thursday from 1-2 pm ET on www.hayhouseradio.com. Before entering the personal development field in 1982, Lauren worked in the entertainment industry as a TV host with Matt Lauer on the PM Magazine television show and as a singer with the recording group Tuxedo Junction.

Prior to founding LMA, Lauren worked as a coach and consultant at Right Management, served as Vice President of Learning & Organizational Development at Boston Financial, and led Arthur Andersen’s New England People Strategy & HR Management consulting practice. She lived in Germany for eight years, where she worked as a mind-body psychotherapist and workshop facilitator. A pioneer in integrating the principles of psychoimmunology and holistic healing in her workshops and counseling practice, her groundbreaking work drew national attention in Germany in the early nineties, including television appearances and media interviews.

Drawing from her diverse background, Lauren frequently appears as a keynote speaker and is a member of the National Speaker’s Association. She is a guest lecturer at Brandeis University and served as an adjunct faculty member at Northeastern University. Unlike most coaches whose competency lies in psychology, business, or career management, Lauren’s expertise in all three fields enables her to work effectively with clients in a variety of areas critical to mastering change, and to achieving optimal personal and professional performance. Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Masters-level German certification in Psychotherapeutic Counseling, a Master’s degree in Organizational Development, and is a graduate of The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
